Clinical Hypnotherapy

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mental and physical relaxation in which you are fully aware of what is going on, and are in complete control.  It opens the door to your sub-conscious mind, and can be a highly creative experience.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective therapy in which your mind can, through the power of positive and beneficial suggestion, be guided to help you achieve the desired result.  It differs from other therapies in that it enables the client to reprogramme those parts of the mind that may be resisting change by conscious effort.

During hypnosis you are not unconscious, just deeply relaxed and aware of everything.  After hypnosis you will awaken feeling alert, refreshed and ready to continue with your life.

Hypnotherapy should not be confused with stage hypnotism.

Problem areas that are particularly suited to treatment to hypnotherapy are stress related conditions, habits and addictions, fears and phobias, inhibitions and lack of confidence.
